The Speaker’s Bureau of Love Makes A Family provides education and insight on the topic of marriage for same-sex couples to groups and organizations throughout the state. We are trained volunteer speakers who can talk to any type of organization from religious organizations to classes to community/professional organizations. A typical presentation consists of a number of topic areas: Changes in marriage throughout history The difference between civil and religious marriage The difference between domestic partnerships, civil unions and marriage Why marriage matters to same-sex couples We adapt our presentation to the length of time made available to us and always leave time for a Q&A period.
