Join us as we ask folks to sign the marriage equality pledge across Connecticut. This is a opportunity to identify and to educate new marriage supporters. This is also a great way to have fun with people who support marriage equality too! Training will be available for interested volunteers.

Phone Banks
Phone Banks serve purposes from volunteer recruitment to asking our members to contact legislators to raising money for trainings.  Phone banks are a necessary part of many successes and incredibly important to outreach. Human contact is always better than an email!

Legislator House Meetings
The function of our legislator meetings is to invite legislators (in targeted districts) to a constituent’s home to have conversations on marriage equality, and encourage their support of FULL equality for same-sex couples. The organizer can utilize Love Makes a Family's lists to identify supporters who are constituents of targeted legislators to attend the meeting and to plan an effective house meeting.

Write letters to the editor in repsonse to Love Makes a Family alerts.  We respond to any negative press on marriage equality for same-sex couples. More
